Here at Obsidian Valor Crest Auto Masters, we've been working on European cars for years, and we treat your personal info the same way we treat your vehicle - with respect and care. This isn't some cookie-cutter policy written by lawyers who've never turned a wrench. We're gonna be real with you about what we collect, why we need it, and what we do with it.

We're located at 1247 Industrial Parkway in Mississauga, and we're serious about protecting your privacy while still giving you the best service possible.

What Info We Actually Collect

When you bring your ride to us or reach out for a quote, we're gonna need some basics:

• Contact Details: Your name, phone number, email address - pretty standard stuff so we can actually get back to you about your car
• Vehicle Information: Make, model, year, VIN number, service history if you've got it. Can't properly tune a BMW without knowing what we're dealing with, right?
• Service Records: What work we've done, parts we've used, any warranty info. This helps us track your vehicle's history and catch potential issues before they become expensive problems
• Payment Info: Credit card details, billing address - though we use secure payment processors, so we don't actually store your full card numbers on our systems
• Photos & Documentation: Sometimes we'll snap pictures of your car during restoration or before/after paint correction work

How We Use Your Information

We're not selling your data to random companies or spamming you with junk. Here's what we actually do:

• Schedule your appointments and send reminders (nobody likes showing up on the wrong day)
• Order parts specific to your vehicle
• Keep maintenance records so we can recommend service intervals
• Send you invoices and process payments
• Occasionally reach out with service reminders or special offers on stuff that's relevant to your car - and you can opt out anytime
• Improve our services based on feedback and service patterns

That's pretty much it. We're too busy working on cars to do anything shady with your data.

Who We Share Your Info With

We don't hand out your information like flyers. But there are a few situations where we might need to share it:

• Parts Suppliers: When we're sourcing specialty parts for your European import, we'll need to provide vehicle details
• Payment Processors: Credit card companies and payment gateways to complete transactions securely
• Legal Requirements: If the law says we gotta share something, we will. Hasn't happened yet in all our years, but we're covering our bases here
• Insurance Companies: Only if you specifically ask us to deal with your insurance claim

We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party marketers. Period.

How We Protect Your Data

Security's important to us. Our shop's got cameras and locks, and our digital stuff's protected too:

• Encrypted connections when you submit info through our website
• Secure servers with regular backups
• Limited access - only our staff who actually need your info can see it
• We shred physical documents when we don't need 'em anymore

Look, no system's 100% bulletproof, but we're doing everything reasonable to keep your info safe.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your info as long as you're a customer, plus a reasonable time after. Service records and vehicle history? We'll hang onto those for about 7 years - it helps if you come back with an issue down the road, plus tax laws require us to keep financial records.

Once we don't need it anymore, we'll securely delete or destroy it.

Changes to This Policy

Sometimes we might need to update this policy - new laws, new services, whatever. When we do, we'll post the updated version here with a new date at the top.

If there's any major changes that affect how we handle your data, we'll shoot you an email or give you a heads up when you're in the shop.
